Dr. Bonardi approaches each assessment with the goal to bring understanding of how a child’s cognitive, academic and social emotional functioning impact their learning and overall well-being. Dr. Bonardi’s experience as a classroom teacher in conjunction with her extensive training and experience on multidisciplinary assessment teams, provides her with a wide lens to understand a child’s functioning. Dr. Bonardi provides various types of evaluations ranging in scope and always individualized based on the questions to be answered. Assessments are grounded in clinical observation, scientific knowledge and curious investigation with the goal to understand, empower and implement positive change. It is Dr. Bonardi’s firm belief that our role as parents and teachers is to identify the strengths that each child possesses and to build upon them and to exploit them in the service of improving areas of weakness and optimizing growth.
