about dr. debbie bonardi

Dr. Debbie Bonardi is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience in working with children, adults, and families.

With specialized training and expertise in neuropsychological and psycho-educational assessments, Dr. Bonardi is adept at addressing a broad spectrum of both assessment and treatment needs for children, teens and adults.

Dr. Bonardi’s interest in child development and education began after graduating from U.C. Davis and teaching inner city children with Teach for America. This pivotal experience influenced her educational and professional journey.  After receiving her doctoral degree in clinical psychology, Dr. Bonardi turned her interest to pediatric psychology and worked at Children’s Health Council and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital supporting medically fragile children with related mental health, cognitive and educational needs.  Currently, Dr. Bonardi works in private practice evaluating and advocating for children with developmental, learning, social, emotional and general school related challenges.  Dr. Bonardi has worked with hundreds of schools and teachers, both private and public to implement change on behalf of students.

In addition to assessment services, Dr. Bonardi has extensive clinical experience and training in several therapeutic modalities. Dr. Bonardi brings a strength-based and personalized approach to therapy.
